The HGX 4/650-4S Bock is a robust semi-hermetic piston compressor, tailored for advanced refrigeration demands.

Engineered to work with a versatile power supply of 380/420 V-50 Hz-3 ph or 440/480 V-60 Hz-3 ph, this unit boasts an impressive 20 hp and a substantial displacement of 57.70 m3.

Ideal for mid-to-high back pressure applications (MHBP), it provides a cooling capacity of 30.35 kW with R407C and 24.33 kW with R404A. The compressor is compatible with an array of refrigerants, including R134a, R404A, R407F, R448A, R449A, R507, and R513A. It incorporates a 1 5/8″ suction pipe and a 1 1/8″ discharge pipe and comes with a solid weight of 170 kg.

Operating with a fixed speed of 1450 rpm and employing an oil pump lubrication mode, the HGX 4/650-4S Bock ensures consistent performance.

It’s protected by an IP 66 enclosure and INT69 G motor protection, signaling top-grade reliability. Its high/low-pressure design is rated at 19/28 bar, and it features suction gas-type motor cooling, further ensuring durability.

The array of critical accessories like a 50/100% capacity control, 80 W crankcase heater, oil pressure safety switch, and thermal protection thermostat enhances functionality and safety.

The compressor is also available with ATEX certification for operation in explosive environments and has a facility for electronic frequency control, from 25 to 70 Hz.
